What is a 'professional let'? A professional let is one where:

• There is a 6-month (or more) tenancy agreement.

• The agreement is between the landlord and the tenant.

• The property is occupied by one family unit (could be a single person) AND

• The rent is paid in full by the tenant i.e. no subsidy from the Government.

• Professional lets qualify for the cheapest landlord insurance

Note that, unlike many companies, for us there is no requirement that the tenant is employed: Providing the tenancy agreement is between the tenant and the landlord then the risk will be regarded as a 'professional let.
